The Kheyala Institute
Yoga, Shamanism and interdisciplinary research In Autumn 2004 I founded the Kheyala Institue along with a group of practitioners from different professions. Our objectives are: to bring naturopathic and ancient methods of treatment to a wider clientel and contribute to their quality standards; to scientifically verify the effectiveness of these methods; to develop new effective methods, and to introduce these to the public. The Kheyala Institute began to offer seminars and training in the beginning of 2006. The programme is extensive and wide-ranging and stands for quality and innovation - taking a look at our website will be time well spent. At the moment our main scientific focus is to verify the effectiveness of Shamanic treatment methods for serious illnesses. For this purpose we chose illnessnes involving chronic symptoms, which show virtually no improvement following conventional medical treatment. In the coming years we will make the results of our research and our developments in this field availiable to the public. Kheyala - is a word in Urdu. It means, direct, spontaneous inspiration and intuition. These were the qualities that created Kheyala and continue to guide its development today.
