International Yoga Teacher Training Course at University of Cologne (Germany) 2007 2009offered by AStA Sports Department of University of Cologne (Germany)Kheyala Institute Yoga, Shamanism and Interdisciplinary Research, Cologne (Germany) in cooperation with Swami Balendu e.V., Germany Shree Bindu Sewa Sansthan Ashram for Yoga and Vedantic Science, Vrindavan (India) Supervision Goswami Sri Balendu, Vrindavan, India as well as experienced, international guest teachers. This Yoga Teacher Training offers the exclusive opportunity to study Yoga in India and Europe with highly experienced and internationally renowned Teachers. Contents At the end of the Certification Course you will be qualified to teach Yoga in a professional and knowledgeable manner. You will be able to teach classes to different levels as well as classes on special subjects and will have sound knowledge of techniques for relaxation and stress-reduction, meditation and the nature of the human body and mind. The Yoga Teacher Training will also qualify you to teach meditation and relaxation courses. Knowledge and first-hand experience of the Yoga traditions and their background, Yogic cleansing techniques, and ceremonies rooted in Indian culture will also be elaborated on during the course of the Teacher Training. In addition, the Teacher Training will cover important information about business and law-related aspects of being a Yoga Teacher, as well as nutrition, health and Yoga Therapy. Teacher Training Schedule Altogether there will be 12 meetings, which have been organised as follows: 8 weekends and 1 long weekend in Cologne (Germany), one 6 day meeting in Germany, one 11 day meeting in Vrindavan (Northern India), one 5 day meeting in Germany. Prerequisites Dates1st meeting: 2nd 4th November 2007 (Cologne) Time:In 2 practical training years on 65 days (13 meetings) are given 716 instruction units (à 45 min). Important additional information The Teacher Training is intensive! Apart from the training sessions you will be required to study at home (daily yoga practice, preparation for presentations, study of the scriptures …). Please note that personal study time is not included in the outline for the Teacher Training as mentioned above.
